| My name is Garth. I am a 15 year boy who's into anime and manga. This page is dedicated to Ranma 1/2, the most popular anime in Japan. I have been interested in anime and manga since 1994, but I also watched shows like Voltron and Speed Racer when I was little. I got into Ranma 1/2 when I found Some Ranma manga in 'VizD's comic shop' on Wells in Reno (They could use some free publicity) I was hooked imediatley. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Ranma is a 16 year old boy who, on a 10 year training trip with his father, gets cursed after falling in a cursed spring at the legendary training ground, Jusenkyo. Ranma fell in Nyannichuan, spring of drowned girl, his father, Genma, fell in Shaomaonichuan, spring of drowned panda. Being splashed with cold water trigers the curse, causingeither of them to take body of, a girl in Ranma's case, and a panda in Genma's. Hot water has the opposite effect, returning them to their natural form. One month after this, and a couple blocks away from the Tendo Dojo in Japan, Genma decides to tell Ranma about a promise to his friend, Soun Tendo, stating that Ranma will marry one of his daughters. Ranma is brought there against his will, as a girl. He is introduced to Akane Tendo as a girl. She latter decides to take a bath, and upon noticing Ranma's clothes in the room outside the bathroom and decides she can take a bath with 'her'. She steps into the bathrom as Ranma, having been returned to male form in stepping out of the furo. Akane is very pissed at Ranma for seeing her in the nude. Genma and Ranma explain thier sitiation to Soun and his daughters. Afterwards Soun introduces his daughters, Nabiki-17, Kasumi-19, and Akane-16. It is Quickly decided that Akane shold be the one to marry Ranma because she hates boys. Over the series, Ranma's martial arts skill is shown to be great, he saves Akane time and time again from being kidnapped to monsters and thair Relationship soon blossomes into love, Ranma obtains several more unwanted inazuke's-making Akane very jellous, and it is proven that Nermia is a very strange place. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
